NON-TRANSPLANT HEPATOBILIARY SURGERY
At our center, we have closely integrated the practice of hepatobiliary surgery with liver transplantation because the same team members–medical physicians with expertise in the care of liver diseases, surgeons with expertise operating on the liver and bile ducts, and nurse coordinators who guide you through the process–take care of both of these patient populations.
In addition, for some patients, liver transplantation can be an option when there are no other traditional surgical options left.
